Chakrapani's World Scool of Music is celebrating World Music Day in school's premises today (21/06/07) at B-1, Greater Kailash-I. You are cordially invited to the program. This program will be live telecasted between 6-7 pm today on the Dilli Aaj Tak Channel.
Under the auspices of Chakrapani's World School of Music and US Embassy's convening of a musical performance & lecture by Mr. Jeffrey Krieger Principal Cello, Hartford Symphony Orchestra, USA, on his e-cello, heartily entertained the audience. In this performance Mr Jeffrey Krieger , gave a lecture on Cello's new modification that is cello attached with Laptop and demonstrated it in a concert which again amazed the audience. To compose music through Laptop in the e-cello and attaching it with the tune of e cello playing the music was for the first time demonstrated before the Indian music school or audience. The founder of the School Thakur Chakrapani Singh presented a Memento to Mr. Jeffrey and also handed over to him a copy of recently released his CD in USA, "CHAKRA SUITE" from ALEXTRONOCA on this occasion. Mr. Jeffrey Krieger, expressed a possibility of a fusion with Chakrapani's Kachhapi Veena

Thakur Chakrapani Singh is collaborating with famous Music Composer from USA Mrs.Alex Shapiro on electro-acoustic pieces that encompass beautiful ragas. The first of these collaborations, Chakra Suite, was recorded September 2005 and will appear on Alex's upcoming CD, Alextronica.
